The HPF+ project N. 21033 started on January 1st, 1996.

Will ends on April 30, 1998

Current Status:

Three sets of kernels based on FIRE, PAM-CRASH and IFS have been produced.

A definition of HPF+ has been produced.

A new Vienna High Performance Fortran Compiler (VFC) has been developed for supporting full F90, HPF and HPF+ language features.

MEDEA has been extended for the automatic performance analysis of HPF+ benchmarks.

The kernels produced are evaluated comparing HPF+ versions with MPI and HPF-1.

Dissemination participating in Workshops, Conferences (HPCN97, SC97) and HPF Forum meetings.
