Project description: This project aims to investigate and elaborate a novel technology called adaptive semantic data integration on the Grid and implement them within a framework called SemDIG, which will exploit special mechanisms provided by the Grid. The kernel part of the SemDIG will include adaptive integration processes supporting - continuous-optimized-execution - paradigm of query processing based on monitoring Grid/data resources and query execution status and an intelligent decision system.
